Job summary

HighRadius is seeking a highly analytical Finance Manager to oversee critical accounting and financial operations for our US and EMEA regions. The role centers on accuracy in financial reporting, accruals, reconciliation, cash flow management, and audit compliance.

Qualifications

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance is required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in financial accounting, controllership, or financial reporting.
  • Strong working knowledge of US and EMEA accounting standards, accrual accounting, and fixed asset governance.
  • Experience with audit support, preparing audit schedules, and conducting process walkthroughs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead month-end close, accruals, and balance sheet governance for US and EMEA regions.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain audit-ready schedules across key accounts.
  • Perform detailed GL scrutiny, reconciliations, and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Analyze cash flow and present cash flow bridges to management.
  • Perform P&L variance analysis focusing on non-headcount costs and provide actionable insights.

Job description

We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Finance Manager to oversee critical accounting and financial operations for our US and EMEA regions. This role is essential for driving accuracy in financial reporting, managing complex accrual and reconciliation processes, overseeing cash flow management, and ensuring strict audit compliance. The ideal candidate will bring rigor to our General Ledger (GL) activities, balance sheet governance, and cost management.

Key Responsibilities

Month-End Close, Accruals & Balance Sheet Governance

  • Lead the preparation, review, and finalization of US and EMEA regional accruals, ensuring timely posting of vendor accrual entries.
  • Conduct thorough weekly General Ledger (GL) scrutiny to ensure data integrity, identify anomalies, and maintain accurate accounting records.
  • Perform detailed reviews of Prepaid Expenses and Fixed Assets (FA), ensuring accurate amortization, depreciation, and classification.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain comprehensive audit-ready schedules across key accounts.
  • Complete timely monthly reconciliations for all assigned balance sheet and income statement accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies promptly.

Financial Reporting & Cash Flow Management

  • Prepare and analyze the regional Cash Flow statements on a regular cadence.
  • Develop and present detailed Cash Flow walks (bridges) to management, clearly explaining underlying drivers, variances, and liquidity impacts.

Cost Management & P&L Analysis

  • Drive the finalization and tracking of all non-headcount (Non-HC) costs.
  • Perform detailed Key P&L variance analysis focused on Non-HC expenditures, providing actionable insights and commentary to senior leadership regarding budget-versus-actual performance.

Audit Support & Internal Controls

  • Serve as a primary contact for external and internal auditors, providing end-to-end audit support.
  • Lead process walkthroughs for auditors to demonstrate internal control effectiveness and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure all financial schedules and reconciliations comply with regional accounting standards and audit requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in financial accounting, controllership, or financial reporting, specifically handling the areas outlined above.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong working knowledge of US and EMEA accounting standards, accrual accounting, and fixed asset governance.
  • Demonstrated expertise in GL scrutiny, balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow reporting, and P&L variance analysis.
  • Experience leading audit support, preparing audit schedules, and conducting process walkthroughs.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and experience with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical mindset, robust compliance discipline, and the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to cross-functional stakeholders.
