Job summary

Gallagher in India is seeking an experienced AM – Learning Business Partner to support the insurance verticals within the Center of Excellence in Bengaluru. The role partners with business stakeholders to identify learning needs, design and deliver training solutions, and drive capability building.

Qualifications include 5–10 years in Learning & Development, prior Senior Trainer or Assistant Manager experience, and ability to deliver in person and virtually. Travel within India is occasional.

• Business & Domain Overview
• Soft Skills (eg.TTT)
• Conduct training needs analysis and support learning design, including training plans, calendars, schedules, SOPs, and learning aids.
• Manage multiple learning initiatives with ownership and accountability.
• Track progress, learner feedback, completion, and training effectiveness.
• Use Excel and PowerPoint for reporting, dashboards, and presentations.
• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders, SMEs, and cross-functional teams.
• Be open to occasional travel within India.

Overview

Gallagher is looking for an experienced AM – Learning Business Partner to support insurance verticals within the Gallagher Center of Excellence in Bangalore. The role will partner with business stakeholders to identify learning needs, design and deliver training solutions, and drive capability building. Insurance domain experience is preferred, and exposure to Property & Casualty (P&C) is a n advantage.

• Partner with business leaders to identify capability gaps and learning priorities.
• Align learning interventions with business goals and workforce needs.
• Deliver virtual/classroom training on:

About you

Qualifications:

• 5–10 years of experience in Learning & Development / Training
• Prior experience as a Senior Trainer/Assistant Manager
• Experience training both new hires and experienced employees
• Strong stakeholder management experience, preferably with exposure to US/UK/Aus stakeholders
• Experience in IT/ITES domains; Insurance preferred; Banking, Mortgage, Financial Services, or similar also acceptable
• Experience delivering training both in person and virtually

Competencies:

• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
• Strong training needs analysis and learning design capability
• Good program management and analytical skills
• Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to build rapport, work collaboratively, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn insurance domain knowledge

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in insurance training
• Exposure to P&C insurance
• Training-the-Trainer (TTT) experience
• Certifications in training, facilitation, or instructional design
• Experience in a global or matrixed organization
