Hyatt Hotels Corporation is seeking an Assistant Manager – Hygiene to ensure cleanliness and hygiene across all hotel operations. You will maintain the highest standards of sanitation in compliance with brand standards and safety guidelines.
The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in hygiene or food safety within a luxury hotel, strong knowledge of sanitation standards, and preferably hold a certification in food safety.
When you work in Hawaii, in addition to learning about the functional aspects of running a hotel — like the proper way to make a bed or how to best handle luggage — it’s critically important to understand Hawaiian culture and the spirit of ‘ohana, or ‘family.’ When opening the first Andaz property in Hawaii, our team participated in Hawaiian culture training to help us understand what ‘ohana truly means.
You will be responsible for providing an excellent and consistent level of cleanliness and hygiene across all hotel operations. The Assistant Manager – Hygiene is responsible for ensuring that the highest standards of sanitation, food safety, and hygiene practices are maintained in accordance with the hotel’s brand standards, local regulations, and international safety guidelines.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in hygiene or food safety in a luxury hotel, with good knowledge of sanitation standards and HACCP. Certification in food safety or related areas is an added advantage.
