Job summary

ReNew is India’s leading renewable energy company seeking an HSE professional to implement safety programs and build a strong safety culture across solar and wind assets.

You will coordinate ESMS/ESIA/EMP activities, conduct trainings, monitor safety metrics, and drive continual improvement in risk mitigation at sites with collaboration from central HSE and on-site teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety or a related field.
• Experience implementing ESMS/ESIA and EMP.
• Ability to train teams and monitor safety metrics.

Responsibilities

• Effectively implement organizational safety programs at Solar Asset sites.
• Build a safety work culture within the team.
• Assist in ESMS ESIA and EMP maintenance.
• Coordinate environment and social impact assessments where needed.
• Identify training needs with central HSE and arrange sessions.
• Monitor HSE processes with continual improvement based on data.
• Track health and safety metrics to reduce risks.
• Collaborate with site incharge and HSE teams on EHSS at sites.
• Coordinate with central HSE to improve systems and policies.
• Assist in E&S self-verification activities and audits.

Job Description

• Effectively implement organizational safety programs and check effectiveness in Solar Asset.
• Build safety work culture in the team
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of Environmental and Social Management Systems (ESMS).
• Support preparation of Environment and Social Impact Assessments (ESIA) and Environment Management Plans (EMP).
• Co-ordinate with central HSE for identifying the training needs and imparting in-house/ external training
• Monitoring HSE processes and procedures with continual improvement based on RCA and operational experience
• Tracking of health and safety metrics to identify and to reduce risks with implementation and tracking of mitigation plan
• Work closely with site incharge, site team, & HSE team on implementation of EHSS system at site
• Coordinate with central HSE for implementation and improvement of systems, policies and procedures
• Assist in conducting E&S self-verification activities and internal audits.
