Job summary

Riya Placement is seeking an experienced EHS Specialist to drive compliance and safety initiatives across projects in Rajasthan. The role involves ensuring adherence to Factory Act, environmental regulations, hazardous waste rules, and regulatory requirements, plus leading PESO-related approvals and liaising with government authorities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with the Factory Act, Environmental Regulations, Hazardous Waste Rules, MSIHC Rules, and other statutory requirements.
• Handle PESO approvals, licensing, inspections, and coordination with government authorities.
• Manage statutory records, licenses, renewals, and regulatory documentation.
• Lead EHS activities for Greenfield and Brownfield projects, including construction, commissioning, and startup.
• Conduct HAZOP, HIRA, JSA, risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections.
• Implement Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems and safe work practices.
• Monitor hazardous chemical handling, storage, transportation, and petroleum product compliance.
• Ensure environmental compliance, including emissions, ETP/STP operations, and hazardous waste management.
• Support ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems and coordinate internal and external audits.
• Investigate incidents, implement corrective actions, and promote safety awareness.
• Prepare EHS performance reports, management reviews, and sustainability initiatives.
