Job summary

Growth For Impact is seeking a dedicated HSE leader to implement global and regional strategies, build a robust safety framework, and drive governance across multiple locations. The role focuses on creating safe work environments, OHSAS compliance, incident investigations, and continuous improvement in safety culture.

The incumbent will lead audits, training, risk assessments, and KPI reporting, ensuring regulatory compliance and effective safety management across all sites.

Responsibilities

• Implementation of Global/Regional strategies
• Create a system and process for a safe work environment
• HSE plan & Budgets
• Incident investigation, RCA and CAPA
• Auditing & Training; Create Safety awareness & consciousness
• Inspection & monitoring and tracking of all HSE parameters at regular intervals
• Legal Compliances
• Group Security management systems
• Lead the team in implementing the HSE Management System by ensuring implementation of OHSAS & Environment policy across all business operating locations
• Preparation of Safety operating procedures
• Ensure that risk assessment and Hazard studies are conducted for all new and modified processes and other site operations, and help sites develop and implement risk mitigation plans across all business locations
• Develop and drive site OHS targets associated improvement plans including those related to critical and high‑risk events/activities in line with OHSAS requirements and track progress till completion towards set objectives and targets
• Identify and implement key performance indicators for tracking OHSAS and EMS performance and report the performance of OHSAS and EMS to top management
• Set up a system for OHS & EMS governance and conduct periodic reviews with all sites
• Develop, implement, and run comprehensive OHS audit programs in partnership with site teams, conduct OHS audits, meetings, and inspections and ensure compliance to the agreed actions
• Provide leadership and guidance to the site for environmental affairs & design for a safety work environment
• Develop a program to sensitize employees towards OHS aspects, improve their OHS risk perception and mitigation for establishing true OHS culture across all business locations
• Implementation of chemical handling process and risk assessment
• Drive innovation in OHS to prevent any mishap
• Reward and recognition program for best site performance across all business locations
• Regularly monitor safety standards and procedures in the BU, and respond to emergencies and incidents in the
