Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Hyderabad is seeking an Assistant Manager for General Accounting to lead a 10- to 15-member team, ensure timely financial statements, and handle cash management for multiple client portfolios.

You will coordinate with client accounting teams, support year-end audits, and drive process improvements and automation within the department.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of team leading experience in a corporate setup.
• Proven ability to handle people issues with responsible resolution.
• 6-8 years of accounting experience with exposure to US GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Review timely and accurate monthly financial statements for 8-10 client portfolios.
• Document the resolution of issues identified in Manager/Client Accountant reviews.
• Responsible for cash management of assigned clients.
• Ensure bank statements are reconciled timely and follow up on outstanding items.
• Assist in the budget process and review budgets from an accounting perspective.
• Coordinate year-end audit work and prepare supporting schedules.
• Drive process improvements and automation with the team.

Submit financial statements and workpapers in reviewable form (including documentation) and within the proper time frame for review.* Document the resolution of all issues identified in the Manager's/ Client Accountant review of financial statements.* Responsible for cash management of assigned clients.* Ensure that all bank statements are reconciled on a timely basis and follow-up on all outstanding checks and reconciling items monthly.* Assist in the budget process and review the budget from an accounting perspective.* Work with the team to process escalations and work in resolving same* Handle difficult client situations and ensure that all special needs are being met* Assume responsibility for the coordination and organization of year-end audit work, and prepare supporting schedules* Be proactive in keeping Manager informed of all activities* Manage all operational/supervisory adhocs and manage Process Hygiene* Work on implementing Process Improvements and automation with team# **Sounds like you?
