Job summary

ClearTax in Bengaluru is hiring a Chartered Accountant to join our finance team, focusing on financial reporting and statutory compliance. You will review records, ensure Ind AS/IFRS reporting, and support month-end closures.

The role requires 1–2 years of post-qualification experience, Big 4 articleship preferred, and strong analytical and communication skills to perform variance analysis and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• CA with 1–2 years post-qualification experience in Financial Reporting/Accounting/Statutory Audit.
• Strong knowledge of Ind AS/IFRS and financial reporting.
• Experience with Big 4 articleship preferred.
• Excellent analytical and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure financial accounting and reporting in accordance with Ind AS/IFRS.
• Support month-end and year-end closing and reporting activities.
• Perform P&L and balance sheet variance analysis.
• Prepare MIS reports and management dashboards.
• Ensure timely account reconciliations and resolution of open items.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and support audit requirements.
• Support ICFR/internal control processes and compliance.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Monitor relevant accounting, statutory, and regulatory developments.
