Job summary

ZF India is seeking an Assistant Manager Finance & Controlling in Pune to lead Planning, Forecasting and Reporting (PFR), ensuring timely management and group reporting to region/global teams in line with IFRS accounting manuals and the CoA.

You will monitor budgets, capex analysis, and NPM performance, provide cost insights on projects (cost vs budget, earned value), and develop repeatable processes, metrics and reports while coordinating with virtual teams.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of relevant experience with CA/CMA mandatory.
• Ability to manage time and prioritize effectively.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; business acumen and project management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to work with virtual teams.
• Ability to develop and implement repeatable processes and management reports.

Job Summary

Industrial Technology is the division where ZF bundles its activities for Off-Road applications. It comprises the development and production of transmissions and axles for agricultural and construction machinery as well as driveline technology for material handling systems, rail and special vehicles. The division is also responsible for the worldwide business of marine propulsion systems as well as the development and production of gearboxes for wind turbines.

• Planning, Forecasting and Reporting (PFR)
  • Responsible for Timely and accurate Management / Group reporting to region/Global
  • Responsible for Monthly / Annual analysis of books of accounts at the Business unit level
  • Responsible for Reporting, Planning and Forecasting as per Group Directives and ZF IFRS Accounting manual and CoA.
• Monitor and approve NPM indents in comparison with annual budgets (in line with sales).
• Summarizing and tracking Investment Plans, Capex analysis, Pay Back Period etc.
• Responsible for following GD and norms for Investment Controlling.Identify financial and operational risks
• Project Planning & Budgeting.Provide insights on project performance (cost vs budget, earned value, etc.)
• Develop project budgets, forecasts, and financial plans, Assist in baseline schedule and cost estimation, Track resource allocation and utilizatio

Your Profile as Assistant Manager Finance & Controlling :

• 4-7 years of related experience in a professional role with professional qualification e.g. CA/ CMA ((Mandate)
• Ability to manage time and prioritize effectively.Ability to work independently with virtual teams
• Skilled with use of Excel and PowerPoint.Demonstrated business acumen and project management experience
• Problem solving skills, including issue identification/structuring, data collection, analysis, synthesizing results, developing actionable and measurable implementation plans
• Ability to develop and implement repeatable processes, metrics, and management reports
• Comfortable working with different levels of the organization and across cultures.Good verbal and written communication skills
