Responsibilities

• Business partnering with manufacturing teams to provide financial insights and drive cost optimization.
• Internal controls review across mill locations to ensure policy and statutory compliance.
• Identify process gaps and implement automation or simplification to improve efficiency.
• Lead Record-to-Report (R2R) including month-end close, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Lead Procure-to-Pay (P2P) across mill locations for vendor compliance and working capital management.
• Coordinate finance practices across multiple mill sites for consistency and transparency.
• Manage relationships with auditors and external partners to support operations.

Role Purpose:

The Assistant Manager – Finance will play a critical role in driving financial excellence across mill operations. This position requires strong business partnering with manufacturing teams, oversight of internal controls, and leadership in key finance processes such as Record-to-Report (R2R) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P). The role is designed for a proactive professional who can identify opportunities for process improvements and ensure compliance with corporate governance standards.

What you will do (Key Responsibilities):

• Business partnering: Collaborate closely with manufacturing teams to provide financial insights, support decision-making, and drive cost optimization initiatives.
• Internal controls review: Regularly assess and strengthen internal control frameworks across mill locations to ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
• Process improvements: Identify gaps in existing processes, recommend automation or simplification opportunities, and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Record-to-Report leadership: Oversee R2R processes including month-end closing, reconciliations, and reporting, ensuring timeliness and accuracy of financial statements.
• Procure-to-Pay leadership: Manage P2P processes across mill locations, ensuring vendor compliance, timely payments, and effective working capital management.
• Cross-location coordination: Standardize finance practices across multiple mill sites, ensuring consistency, transparency, and alignment with corporate objectives.
• Stakeholder management: Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, auditors, and external partners to support smooth financial operations.

Who you are (Requirements):

• CA with 3 to 6 years of Experience
• Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Problem-solving and analytical mindset
