Job summary

ReNew is seeking a Chartered Accountant with 2–5 years of PQE for its Gurugram office to oversee financial reporting. You will prepare and review consolidated and standalone financial statements, manage monthly/quarterly/annual closing, and handle regulatory filings. Familiarity with Ind AS, IFRS, MIS reporting, and SAP is valued.

The role demands strong analytical skills, SOX awareness, and coordination with auditors and other departments to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Qualified CA with 2–5 years of experience in financial reporting.
  • Strong grasp of Ind AS and IFRS accounting standards.
  • Experience in MIS reporting and consolidation/standalone FS.
  • Knowledge of regulatory filings (SEBI/SEC) and audit support.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with accounting and reporting requirements at all levels.
  • Ensure SOX compliances and review management review minutes.
  • Prepare financial statements under Indian AS and IFRS.
  • Comply with Schedule III requirements.
  • Review analytical financials vs budgets and prior years.
  • Implement other accounting and reporting changes.
  • Prepare technical memos on accounting issues.
  • Handle audits and close audit issues.
  • Assist in financial due diligence for acquisitions/disposals.

Job description

We are hiring across AM position in our financial reporting division, looking for qualified Chartered Accountants with 3-5 years of PQE with strong grasp of Ind AS and IFRS accounting standards and experience in MIS reporting. The work profile will primarily involve preparation/review of consolidated and standalone financial statements, monthly/quarterly/annual closing of management accounts, accounting assessments, regulatory filings (SEBI / SEC) etc.

Prior experience (including articleship) of working for energy and manufacturing companies and knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage.

  1. Ensuring compliance with all accounting and reporting requirements, prescribed by relevant regulatory bodies at all levels of operations.
  2. Ensuring SOX compliances for all areas, reviewing Management review minutes.
  3. Preparation of financial statements in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards and IFRS
  4. Compliance with Schedule III requirements
  5. Reviewing the overall analytical review of financials w.r.t comparison with budget and previous years.
  6. Responsible for implementation of other accounting and reporting changes
  7. Responsible for preparing technical memos on various accounting issues/technical updates/knowledge sharing.
  8. Audit handling for closure of audit issues.
  9. Assistance in financial Due diligence for Acquisition/Disposal/New investor.
  10. Coordination with other departments for closure of issues during Audit.
