Job summary

Earthood in Gurgaon, India is seeking an ESG & Sustainability professional at Assistant Manager to Manager level to deliver client-facing advisory, carbon accounting, and verification services.

The candidate should hold an Engineering degree with hands-on technical expertise to guide clients through GHG accounting, SBTi net-zero roadmaps, LCAs, and ESG rating frameworks including EcoVadis and BRSR.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in ESG consulting, carbon accounting, or sustainability auditing.
• Hands-on experience with GHG accounting, net-zero roadmaps, and LCAs.
• Familiarity with EcoVadis, CDP, GRI and SEBI BRSR.

Responsibilities

• Lead ESG and sustainability assignments for client engagements.
• Conduct GHG accounting, product carbon footprints, and lifecycle assessments.
• Develop net-zero roadmaps aligned with SBTi standards and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare ESG disclosures and support external verification and audits.
• Interface with cross-functional teams to translate climate data into strategic insights.

About the Role

Earthood is seeking a technical ESG &Sustainability Professional (Assistant Manager to Manager level) to deliverclient-facing ESG advisory, carbon accounting, and environmental footprintverification.

The candidate should have an engineeringbackground with hands-on technical expertise to help global clients navigateGHG accounting, SBTi net-zero roadmaps, Life Cycle Assessments (LCA), and ESGrating frameworks (including EcoVadis and BRSR).

Key Responsibilities

• GHG & Net-Zero Advisory: Lead Scope 1, 2, and 3 accounting under theGHG Protocol and build client net-zero roadmaps aligned with SBTistandards.
• LCA & Carbon Footprinting: Conduct cradle-to-grave Product CarbonFootprints (PCF) and LCAs compliant with ISO 14040/14044 standards.
• ESG Reporting & Ratings: Drive client disclosures and submissions for EcoVadis,CDP, GRI, and SEBI BRSR/BRSR Core.
• Audit & Assurance: Assist in third-party verification,non-financial data auditing, and climate risk assessments across diverseindustrial sectors.
• Client Engagement: Manage project deliverables, interface withcross-functional corporate teams, and translate complex climate data intoactionable executive insights.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Education

B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech in Environmental, Civil, Mechanical, Chemical,or related Engineering disciplines from a reputed institute.

Higher qualifications and sustainabilitycertification will be preferred

Experience

3–5+ years in ESG consulting, carbon accounting,or sustainability auditing. Candidates with 5+ years will be consideredfor Manager level.

Core Technical Skills

Hands-on proficiency in GHG Protocol, SBTiframework, ISO 14040/44 (LCA), and EcoVadis platform filings.

Regulatory Frameworks

Working knowledge of BRSR Core, GRI, EU CBAM,CSRD, and ISSB (IFRS S1/S2).

Requirements:
