Job summary

Symbiosis Management Consultants is seeking an experienced Sustainability & Environment professional to drive ESG initiatives, decarbonisation, circularity and environmental sustainability. The role focuses on reporting, data-driven governance, and stakeholder engagement across the value chain.

Ideal candidates will have 8+ years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of GHG accounting, Scope 3, and regulatory frameworks, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Environmental Science or related field.
• Masters in Sustainability / Environmental Management preferred.
• Experience with GRI/BRSR reporting and ESG frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead ESG reporting & digitalisation, including KPIs and GHG emissions across scopes.
• Drive Resource Stewardship initiatives: water balancing, ZLD, etc.
• Lead decarbonisation efforts upstream & downstream and supplier ESG data collection.
• Manage EPR compliance for plastics, e-waste, steel, and batteries.
• Drive supply chain sustainability, ESG evaluation, and risk rating systems.
• Lead stakeholder engagement, ESG communications, training and capability building.
• Ensure reporting aligned with BRSR, GRI, CDP and other frameworks.

Role- ESG-Environment & Sustainability

Experience- 8+ Years

Location- Punjab

We are looking for an experienced Sustainability & Environment professional to drive ESG, decarbonisation, circularity and environmental sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead ESG reporting & digitalisation, including GHG emissions, Scope 3, energy, waste, water, social & governance KPIs
• Drive Resource Stewardship initiatives Water Balancing, ZLD, ZWL, Water Positivity, etc.
• Lead upstream & downstream decarbonisation, including Scope 3 data collection and ESG matrices for suppliers & fleet operators
• Manage EPR compliance for plastics, e-waste, steel & batteries
• Drive Supply Chain Sustainability, supplier ESG evaluation and ESG risk rating systems
• Lead stakeholder engagement, ESG communications, capability building and sustainability training
• Ensure compliance and reporting aligned with BRSR, GRI, CDP and relevant environmental frameworks

Ideal Candidate Profile

Bachelors degree in Environmental Science, Civil/Auto Engineering, Industrial Production or related field

Masters in Sustainability / Environmental Management preferred
