ReNew is seeking an Assistant Manager Design with hands-on experience in ETAP, PSS/E, and PSCAD to lead electrical design for wind and solar projects in Gurgaon. You will handle ETAP/PSCAD modelling, grid code compliance studies, and plant protection settings.

BE/BTech in electrical engineering with 3–5 years post-qualification experience is preferred. The role involves detailed engineering of substations up to 400 kV, relay coordination, and scripting for automation where applicable.

Responsabilidades

• Electrical Balance of Plant for sub-stations up to 400 kV and related transmission lines from concept to commissioning.
• Perform Grid code compliance and stability studies for wind/solar projects.
• Provide technical reports and design calculations for electrical layouts and equipment sizing.
• Support reactive power compensation and protection/PPC settings for the plant.

Job Description

Location: Gurgaon.

Experience : 4 Years to 6 Years

Designation : Assistant Manager Design (ETAP(Expert), PSS/E(Intermediate) and PSCAD (Intermediate)

Education: BE / BTech

Detailed engineering:

Electrical Balance of plant pertaining to Sub-station (up to 400 KV), Switching stations, and related transmission lines, from concept till commissioning of wind farm, which shall also involve

• Developing models of renewable energy/ Utility transmission & distribution network onpower system simulation software, which shall also include
• Performing studies such as Relay Coordination, Insulation Coordination, Arc Flash Studies etc for stability of Plant through ETAP.
• Python scripting for PSS/E simulation automation.
• Performing Grid code compliance studies (Steady state, Power quality & Dynamic studies) for integration of renewable energy to the Grid through PSS-E.
• Knowledge of PSCAD & EMT studies would be an added advantage.
• Knowledge on PPC & designing control logic along with system architecture is added advantage
• Familiar to Design calculations/ Electrical Equipment sizing calculations and various Electrical layouts.
• Preparing technical report for the studies conducted.
• Knowledge on regulatory requirements put forth by CEA will be an added advantage.

• BE/B Tech in electrical engineering from recognized institution like NIT/ equiv., with 3-5 yrs. post qualification experience. Candidates with masters in power systems or equivalent would be preferred.
• Experience on the balance of plant of wind renewable sector OR from the solar / hydro sector OR from the EPC companies who deliver services to the renewable sector/those who are into energy/ power sector.
• Candidates willing to relocate to Gurgaon with family, will be preferred.
