Job summary

Exide Energy Solutions Limited (EESL) seeks an Assistant/Deputy Manager - Mechanical Operation & Maintenance at Devanahalli, Bengaluru Rural. You will ensure reliable, safe, and efficient operation of mechanical utility systems by planning, executing, and supervising maintenance activities while driving continuous improvement and statutory compliance.

Role requires 6–12 years in mechanical utility maintenance, with preference for manufacturing/process industries.

Qualifications

• 6-12 years of experience in Mechanical Utility maintenance
• Experience in manufacturing/process industry preferred
• Willingness to work in Bengaluru region and2nd shift may be required

Responsibilities

• Ensures smooth handover from Project to operations and maintenance teams with all safety and statutory requirements.
• Manages mechanical utility maintenance for boilers, chillers, compressors, DGs, STP/ETP, WTP and related systems.
• Raises uptime through ongoing monitoring and improvements while controlling costs and safety compliance.
• Drives continuous improvements to ease maintenance and optimize energy efficiency.

Exide Energy Solutions Limited is looking for Assistant / Deputy Manager - Mechanical Operation & Maintenance in the Manufacturing organisation to achieve companys goal at Devanahalli, Bangalore Rural Manufacturing Location.

Job Location: Devanahalli, Bangalore Rural

Job Overview: To ensure reliable, safe, and efficient operation of mechanical utility systems by planning, executing, and supervising maintenance activities while driving continuous improvement and statutory compliance.

Main Responsibilities:

• Ensures Smooth Handover from Project: proven expertise in smooth transition of the Utilities from Project to operations & maintenance team, ensure all statutory, safety, technical and operation maintenance aspects.
• Expertise in Utility Maintenance: Manage and control complete mechanical utility maintenance such as Boilers, Chillers, Compressors, Cooling towers, Dehumidifiers, AHUs, DGs, STP, ETP and WTP.
• Enhances safety protocols: By prioritizing safety in Maintenance process, shall create a safe working environment for everyone.
• Drives continuous improvement: Through regular monitoring and analysis, manage and identifies opportunities for increase the uptime of Utility equipment, keenly work for the improvement of existing system interim of ease of maintenance, reducing cost of maintenance and human safety.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree (B.E. / B.Tech.) in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
• Candidates with a Diploma or qualifications in disciplines other than Mechanical Engineering are requested not to apply, as they do not meet the eligibility criteria for this position.

Experience:

• Should have 6 - 12 years of experience in Mechanical Utility maintenance
• Experience in manufacturing/process industry preferred
