Job summary

Jupiter is seeking a Production: Shift In charge for the Printer Cluster at Nagpur. Lead the complete print line, optimize plans for print, packing, box build, and testing to achieve targets and yield.

Ensure safety, stability, and efficient operation while aligning with production goals. You will supervise shift activities, review alarms, optimize manpower deployment, and coordinate with maintenance for machine recovery and PM planning.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in SMT/PCB/electronics manufacturing.
• Experience in cell phone manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with Kaizen and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift production and monitor printer cluster performance.
• Review process alarms and balance workload across the cluster.
• Coordinate with maintenance for machine recovery and PM planning.
• Mentor engineers and train operators on SPC and process control.
• Drive continuous improvement and reduce defects and downtime.

Production: Shift In charge Printer Cluster

Department: Cell Production –3 GW Topcon cell mfg.)
Reports To: Production Cluster Head/HOD
Grade: AM/DM

Location: JRPL Nagpur

Job Purpose

To Lead the complete Print line production cluster by ensuring process stability, equipment utilization, manpower optimization and production performance. Optimize production plan for print line, Packing, Box build and testing operations, ensuring safe, stable, and efficient operation while achieving production target and yield targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all production activities during shift and Monitor printer process parameters and machine performance.
• Review process alarms and abnormalities.
• Ensure production plan achievement.
• Optimize manpower deployment.
• Balance workload across the cluster
• Coordinate with Maintenance for machine recovery.
• Reduce recurring machine stoppages.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance planning.
• Mentor Engineers.
• Identify training needs.
• Conduct skill evaluations.
• Coordinate with Process, Quality and Maintenance.
• Approve machine parameter changes.
• Ensure shift handover documentation.
• Review SPC and process alarms.
• Train engineers and operators.
• Monitor silver paste usage.
• Review downtime and initiate corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement projects.
• Reduce finger interruption, paste spreading, missing print and alignment defects.
• Perform SPC monitoring and maintain process capability.
