Job summary

Western Refrigeration Pvt Ltd in India is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Lead for the finished products and refrigeration equipment segment. You will manage audits from the customer perspective and drive adherence to quality standards.

You will lead a quality team across shifts, perform RCA, implement corrective actions, and mentor downstream staff on inspection and issue resolution. Experience with ISO 9001:2015 and SAP QM is preferred.

Qualifications

• B.Tech in Mechanical or Electronics.
• 8-10 years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance and problem-solving techniques.
• Experience in customer complaint handling and RCA.
• Good understanding of refrigerator/equipment technical aspects.
• Knowledge of SAP QM, ISO 9001:2015, 7 QC Tools and Six Sigma.
• Good communication, analytical and team-handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and manage finished product audits from the customer perspective.
• Handle quality-related activities for refrigerator equipment.
• Drive achievement of defined finished product quality standards.
• Handle and resolve customer complaints effectively.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Conduct market visits/surveys and benchmark products against competitors.
• Visit end customers in the field and provide appropriate solutions for quality issues.
• Achieve departmental and organizational quality objectives.
• Lead and manage the quality team as per defined shift schedules.
• Analyze daily quality issues and coordinate with concerned departments for resolution.
• Develop a proactive approach towards problem solving.
• Guide and develop the downstream team on inspection and issue resolution.
• Apply quality problem-solving tools such as 7 QC Tools and Six Sigma.
• Maintain knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 documentation and requirements.
• Prepare and present weekly and monthly MIS to management.
• Handle instrument and equipment calibration activities.
• Work effectively with SAP QM Module.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint
