Job summary

Tata Communications is seeking a legal professional to join the Legal Services Group in Mumbai. The role involves drafting and negotiating routine commercial contracts, including customer orders, procurement agreements, and SOWs.

You will support business teams in reviewing and finalizing agreements and help develop standard legal templates for various business verticals. The position requires coordinating with global commercial and procurement legal teams to ensure timely and compliant

Qualifications

• Experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Ability to review, draft and negotiate customer and vendor agreements.
• Experience creating and maintaining standard templates for legal documents.

Responsibilities

• Work on routine commercial- customer facing and procurement facing contracts.
• Drafting of special terms and conditions of customer order forms, purchase orders, etc., SOW, agreements and contracts.
• support business and user teams in reviewing, drafting and negotiating agreement both customer facing and vendor facing.
• support the creation of legal documentation for various business verticals of Tata Communications; and
• Provide day-to-day legal support on routine matters as part of the global commercial legal, procurement legal teams of Tata Communications.
• Work with legal operations team to manage legal templates.
• Work closely and effectively with business teams, and other user functions to provide them legal support and assist them in finalizing routine legal documents like / restructuring documents, amendments to contracts, customer facing and vendor facing agreement etc.
