Job summary

Amneal Pharmaceuticals seeks a Compliance Officer to support India operations by drafting and amending policies according to regulatory changes and local laws.

You will help build training materials, drive compliance awareness, and assist in automating processes while conducting quarterly monitoring and governance activities. Travel is required for this role, working across India in collaboration with regional teams.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a compliance officer in pharma/healthcare.
• Degree or certification in Compliance, Pharma Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
• Degree in Law.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Assist Regional Compliance Lead in drafting and amending policies and procedures for India Operations based on regulatory changes.
• Ensure effective functioning of the Compliance Program in India in line with local laws.
• Build communication materials and drive compliance training for India employees.
• Assist in automating compliance processes.
• Conduct quarterly internal monitoring to assess controls and identify risks.
• Drive Compliance Culture through engagement activities.
• Review and approve business activity plans with HCPs, HCCs, and TPRs per policy.
• Maintain governance activity calendar and timely execution.
• Create dashboards and reports for governance meetings for India operations.
• Retain records per company policy for employees in the region.
• Partner with stakeholders for cross-functional collaboration.
• Review/exceptions/observations and remediation actions.

• Ensure effective functioning and smooth implementation of the Compliance Program in India in conjunction with local laws.
• Build communication materials and drive compliance training and communication to enhance compliance awareness among employees in India.
• Assist Regional Compliance Lead in automating compliance processes.
• Conduct compliance internal monitoring quarterly to assess internal controls and identify potential risks.
• Drive Compliance Culture through innovative employee engagement activities annually.
• Review and approve business activity plans with HCPs, HCCs, and TPRs in accordance with applicable policy and procedures.
• Maintain compliance governance activity calendar and ensure timely execution.
• Create dashboards and reports for governance meetings based on monitoring findings for India operations.
• Retain records and data as per company policies for employees in the region.
• Partner with stakeholders to develop strong cross‑functional collaboration.
• Review and track exceptions, deviations, and observations encountered by employees of Amneal in India and suggest necessary remediation actions.
• Support the International Emerging Market team in third‑party due diligence and remediate identified risks, if any.

Qualifications

• Degree or certification in Compliance, Pharma Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related functional experience.
