Job summary

Mahindra And Mahindra Ltd. is seeking a metallurgical professional to independently manage metallurgical lab activities and perform failure analyses for customer issues across in-house, user plants and field sites.

The role requires knowledge of surface treatment and painting processes, with 2-4 years of general experience and exposure to supplier audits and corrective actions within a metallurgy context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering / Diploma / Bachelors of Technology required.
• 2-4 years of general experience.
• Knowledge of surface treatment and painting processes.

Responsibilities

• Independently handled overall metallurgical lab activities.
• Metallurgical failure analysis of customer issues (in-house, user plant, field).
• Proactive audits of supplier parts and corrective actions.
• Tracking metallurgical issues and taking actions with suppliers.
• Provide technical support for SQA team with respect to metallurgy.
• Certification as Lead Auditor in ISO 9001:2008 and internal auditor in ISO/TS 16949.
