Role Summary
iDream Education is looking for an experienced and hands‑on professional for the position of Assistant Manager - Business Operations, South India Region, to drive end‑to‑end implementation, usage, adoption and impact of iDream s digital education solutions across Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. The role will own the South India portfolio across all orders, leading a small regional team while coordinating with central Programme Design, Operations, Data Systems, and Support Dispatch functions. The role will work closely with schools, government stakeholders, CSR partners and clients to ensure consistent execution, growing adoption and evidence‑backed outcomes across the region.
Responsibilities
Pillar 1 - South India Operations and Portfolio Ownership
- Own end-to-end operational and impact outcomes across all iDream orders in South India - Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry - covering Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 projects.
- Drive the complete order lifecycle from programme handover and planning through implementation, training, adoption, monitoring, reporting and closure.
- Monitor region-wide usage and adoption trends and identify schools, projects and geographies requiring timely intervention.
- Ensure South India projects are implemented consistently against iDream s SOPs, quality standards and programme outcomes.
Pillar 2 - Team Leadership Capability Building
- Lead, coach and manage a small South India operations team across Field, Programme, Data and Support.
- Conduct regular reviews and provide coaching, feedback and capability-building support to enable increasing team independence.
- Build a culture of ownership, data‑led decision‑making and proactive problem‑solving across the regional team.
Pillar 3 - Implementation, Training Adoption
- Drive effective implementation and training of teachers, students and other users across South India, directly or through the regional team.
- Monitor post‑training usage and adoption through 30‑60‑90 day windows and ensure corrective action where usage is below expected levels.
- Build and maintain active teacher communities across assigned schools to support ongoing engagement, query resolution, content sharing and recognition.
- Use usage and engagement data to identify adoption challenges and translate them into school‑and project‑level action plans.
Pillar 4 - Stakeholder Management Regional Relationship Building
- Build and maintain relationships with schools, clients, Block and District Education Officers, DM, BSA, government stakeholders and CSR/NGO partners across South India.
- Represent iDream Education in regional meetings, reviews, trainings and events/programme discussions with external stakeholders.
- Ensure timely and credible communication, reporting and escalation to clients and partners.
- Identify qualified opportunities, renewal inputs and relevant leads from the regional portfolio and share them with the sales team on a bi‑monthly basis.
Pillar 5 - Data, Reporting Cross‑functional Operations
- Own regional data quality, usage monitoring and reporting across all South India projects.
- Coordinate with Programme Design, Data Systems, Support Dispatch and other central functions to ensure smooth execution and timely resolution of operational issues.
- Ensure project data, training completion, usage metrics and impact evidence are updated accurately and on schedule.
- Review regional performance data and translate insights into process improvements, risk mitigation and execution priorities.
Qualifications / Experience
Education: Bachelors or Masters degree preferred in Education, Social Sciences, Social Work, Development Studies, Management or a related field. (Relevant programme experience and demonstrated ability may be considered alongside formal qualifications.)
Experience: 3-4 years of experience in operations, project management or programme implementation within the education, EdTech or social impact sector, including experience managing people or leading a sub-function/team. Proven experience managing multiple projects, locations and stakeholders simultaneously is required.
