iDream Education is seeking a Subject Matter Expert for K-12 Social Science. The role requires 2-5 years of direct experience and strong content alignment, with a focus on CBSE curricula.

You will work to collect high‑quality free content sources, ensure syllabus accuracy, and collaborate across curriculum, content, QC, and product teams. You will update state board materials, manage multi-language content, and support delivery across online and offline platforms in a fast-paced EdTech

Qualifications

• Masters or Bachelors in Arts/Social Science.
• 2-5 years of experience in education domain (teaching/edtech).
• Proficient in MS Excel / Google Sheets for data handling.
• CBSE Social Science knowledge for K-12 classes.
• Fluent in English and Hindi (read, write, speak).

Responsibilities

• Assist team leads with updates to State Boards Curriculum regularly.
• Grasp syllabus and state curriculum content requirements across subjects.
• Collect and maintain quality free content sources; monitor Diksha for updates.
• Review partner and Govt sources for new content additions.
• Update and polish content in the library; ensure alignment corrections.
• Deliver corrected content ready for all platforms; work in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate closely with curriculum, content, QC, design, and product teams.

Must have a minimum of 2-5 years experience in teaching Social Science and a minimum of 2 years of total work experience in a full-time role in a relevant field.

Researching and content exploring skills to collect and maintain all the good quality, free to use content sources available for State Board curriculums.

Possess good grip on MS Office / Google suite as this work will majorly happen in Excel and Word Files, one needs to be very comfortable operating these with attention to minute details.

• To assist the Team Leads in terms of keeping an eye on the updates, changes being made in the State Boards Curriculum on a regular basis
• To understand in depth and grasp the Syllabus and the State Curriculum, its various subjects and courses and the content requirements for all these subjects and classes.
• To assist the team lead to collect and maintain all the good quality, free to use content sources available. And to keep an eye on Diksha for all the new additions being made.
• To keep on visiting the sites of various partner sources and Govt. sources to see for any updates.
• To get a thorough understanding of our present content library available in various languages.
• To check the sources used.
• To fill the alignment gaps and correct the errors.
• To improve and polish the alignment done and the OER added.
• To keep on updating and adding in or replacing the content as and when the need arises in the state board master sheets.
• To review and to finalize and make the corrected content ready to be delivered on all the platforms.
• Work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment. Address changes and ensure sending feedback to deliverables and get them fixed in a timely manner.
• You will work closely with the rest of the iDream Education team to ensure that we are delivering overall superior products and solutions to our users/customers.

4. Qualifications & Experience

Education: Masters or Bachelors degree in Arts/Social Science

Experience: 2-5 years of experience in education domain (teaching/edtech domain)

• Decent knowledge regarding Social Science for classes K-12 of CBSE
• Proficient in MS Excel / Google Sheets
• Proficient in Hindi and English (Read, Write and Speak)
• Good understanding of MS office / Google-suite
• Good research skills and have an eye for detail
• Sharpness in understanding assignments and proactively handle responsibilities
• Excellent in terms of quick and effective communication and coordination
