Job summary

Space Matrix seeks an Assistant Manager Billing to manage post contract validation and inspection of vendor and client bills for interior fit-out projects.

The role involves on-site site visits for bill verification, rate analysis, and financial closure, along with off-site certification and coordination with Finance and internal teams to ensure no-dues and project closure.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in commercials & billing for interior fit-outs projects.
• Experience in interior fit-out projects.
• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Proficient in Excel; knowledge of AutoCAD desirable.

Responsibilities

• Visit site post completion to verify vendor bills and rates.
• Validate vendor bills as per agreed rates.
• Generate client bills after validation and highlight quality issues.
• Penalize vendors for quality issues.
• Certify vendor invoices and forward to Finance.
• Coordinate with internal teams and obtain Business Head approval.
• Obtain no-dues certifications and commercially close the project.

About The Role

As our new Assistant Manager Billing, you will be responsible for post contract validation and inspection of both vendors & Client bills. You will be responsible for validating the quantity measurements and closing of all extra items with rate analysis, along with the financial closure of the projects.

What Makes The Role Successful

On site

• You will be responsible for visiting the site post completion and check the vendor bills in detail.
• You will be responsible for validating the vendor bill as per the pre-decided rates.
• You will be responsible for generating bill for the client post validation.
• You will be responsible to highlight quality issues found at site and correspondingly penalise the vendor.

Off-site

• You will be responsible for certifying the vendor invoices and forwarding the same to the Finance Team for processing.
• Coordinate with internal teams and take approval from the Business head before closing vendor values.
• Obtaining no dues certifications and commercially closing the project.

What We’re Looking For

• You are a billing professional with minimum 3 - 5 Years of experience in commercials & billing for interior fit-outs projects..
• You have relevant experience of working in interior fit-out projects.
• You have a diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• You have in-depth knowledge of working on excel and Auto CAD
• You have the ability to work in a fast paced environment without compromising on quality and customer satisfaction.
• You work well under pressure and have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
