Job summary

Apraava Renewable Energy is seeking a contracts professional with 5-7 years of experience to review service/supply contracts, assess risks, and negotiate terms with vendors and clients. You will coordinate with projects teams and external agencies to protect company interests and ensure timely closure of contracts.

The role requires working closely with projects and legal teams, maintaining documentation and handling contract milestones, extensions, or renewals as needed, with travel if required.

Qualifications

• Mandatorily worked in Contracts function and have exposure to negotiations and contracts management.
• Experience with power/energy project contracting is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Review service/supply contracts and understand all components.
• Review tenders and highlight contractual risks.
• Negotiate terms with vendors/clients leading to contract signing.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams to resolve disputes.
• Protect company interests and manage project-related contractual bottlenecks.
• Maintain contract records and ensure timely contract close/renewal.

Job description

Accountabilities:

• Review of various Service/Supply Contracts- Have good understanding on all the components of Contracts.
• Reviewing ongoing tender and highlights all contractual risk covered.
• Negotiate terms and conditions with Vendors / Clients, leading to signing of Contracts
• Coordination with internal & external agencies/departments and resolving disputes in the Contracts in a timely manner.
• Understand and identify the project areas, bottlenecks, related to -Contracts and protect the Company s interests contractually.
• Working closely with Projects Team and defend / raise claims on clients, contractually during project execution in timely manner.
• Maintain Contractual records and documentation such as receipt and control of all Contract correspondence, Customer contact
• Monitor transaction compliance (Milestone, deliverables, invoicing etc.), Prepare document and ensure Contract closer, extension or renewal.
• Well organized and capable of meeting deadlines, to work on longer hours and extensive travel if need arises.

Educational Qualifications

• Any Engineering degree/ LLB degree
  Should have mandatorily worked in Contracts function and have exposure to negotiations and contracts management.

Functional Skills

• Exposure to Contracting of Power / Energy Projects (AMI projects would be added advantage)
