Qualifications

Position Title: Assistant Manager – Accounts & Finance
Location:Karodi , Waluj MIDC, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad)

Experience: 7 to 12 years
Salary Budget: Up to ₹7,00,000 per annum (Depending on experience and competence)
ERP Requirement: Mandatory proficiency in SAP (FI/CO modules)

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Assistant Manager to oversee day-to-day plant accounting, plant costing, and financial reporting compliance at our manufacturing facility in Waluj MIDC. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in SAP, a solid understanding of manufacturing cost structures, and the ability to manage a small team while reporting to the Plant Head / Corporate Finance Manager.

Key Responsibilities

1. Plant Accounting & Operations (SAP-Driven)

• Manage day-to-day accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and general ledger (GL) entries within SAP.
• Oversee invoice verification, vendor payments, and reconciliation of vendor and customer accounts.
• Ensure timely recording of fixed assets, capitalization, and monthly depreciation runs in SAP.

1. Manufacturing Costing & Inventory Management

• Perform periodic Inventory/Stock Valuation and physical verification reconciliations.
• Analyze manufacturing variances (Material Price Variance, Usage Variance, Labor Variance) using SAP CO.
• Monitor Work-in-Progress (WIP) and cost of goods sold (COGS) accuracy.

1. Taxation & Statutory Compliance

• Ensure accurate calculations and timely filings of GST (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9) and resolve reconciliation mismatches (GSTR-2B vs. Books).
• Handle monthly TDS/TCS payments, returns (Form 24Q, 26Q), and issue certificates.
• Support internal, statutory, and tax audits by preparing required schedules and data extraction from SAP.

1. Financial Reporting & Budgeting

• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Prepare Plant MIS reports regarding production costs, overheads, and profitability analysis.
• Track actual plant expenditures against the allocated annual budget.

Qualifications & Skills Required

• Education: B.Com / M.Com / Inter-CA / Inter-ICWA / MBA (Finance).
• Technical Skills: Advanced hands-on experience in SAP ERP (specifically FI/CO modules) is non-negotiable. Strong proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, advanced formulas).
• Industry Context: Must have at least 3+ years of experience working specifically in a Manufacturing Plant environment (Auto components, engineering, or heavy manufacturing preferred).
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, team management capabilities, and effective communication skills to collaborate with plant operations and vendor teams.
• Locational Stability: Candidates residing in or willing to relocate close to Waluj MIDC are highly preferred to manage plant shift timings/commutes easily.
