Job summary

Hector Beverages – Paper Boat is seeking a CA fresher to join the Finance & Accounts team. You will manage daily accounting operations, reconciliations, and assist in monthly closes, ensuring GST/TDS compliance and accurate ERP entries.

The role involves collaboration with auditors and cross-functional teams to maintain financial integrity and timely reporting in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified CA Fresher with solid grasp of accounting principles.
• Good understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting and finance operations.
• Manage account reconciliations including vendor, customer, bank, and ledger reconciliations.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory regulations.
• Prepare and review GST returns, TDS workings, and tax reconciliations.
• Coordinate with auditors for statutory, internal, and tax audits.
• Analyze financial data and prepare MIS reports for management review.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting entries in ERP systems.
• Assist in identifying and resolving discrepancies in financial records.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams for smooth finance operations and compliance adherence.

• Hands-on exposure to ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Tally, etc.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail with good communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Internship/articleship exposure in FMCG, Manufacturing, or related industries.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
• Strong ownership mindset and willingness to learn.
