EXL Talent Acquisition Team in Noida is seeking a Record to Report-Finance Controller with 3–6 years of experience to oversee day-to-day finance activities for the insurance portfolio. The role requires accurate journal entries, reconciliations, and timely reporting in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

You will prepare financial statements, coordinate audits, and drive process improvements while mentoring junior staff and communicating insights to senior management.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in Finance and Accounting, preferably in insurance.
• Proficiency in journal entry preparation, account reconciliation, and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post accurate journal entries.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end account reconciliations.
• Generate financial statements and management reports for the insurance L&A segment.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external auditors during audits.
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and process improvements.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
• Support the implementation of finance systems and automation tools.
• Mentor junior team members and ensure knowledge transfer.
• Communicate financial insights effectively to senior management.
