Job summary

Ex in Noida is seeking a Back Office-Finance & Accounting professional with 9-12 years of experience to manage reinsurance FP&A processes and ensure compliance with accounting policies.

The role covers ownership of cession statements, data balancing, settlements, ledger adjustments, and monthly financial reporting for senior management. Strong communication skills and knowledge of BI tools are preferred.

Qualifications

• Masters in accounting/finance or equivalent professional qualifications.
• 10 years' experience in insurance/reinsurance processes.
• Knowledge of Power BI and Alteryx preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• The primary responsibilities include ownership of handlings reinsurance cession statements for captive clients.
• This includes monthly data balancing, settlements of reinsurance balances
• Financial adjustments to ledger, financial reporting, financial systems conversions
• monthly reconciliations and monthly/quarterly analytics
• Perform accounting functions resulting in accurate and timely financial statements and related reports for senior management. This position will also assist with ad hoc departmental projects
• knowledge of reinsurance FP&A process and understanding of accounting policies & compliance and reconciliation.

Qualifications

• Masters in accounting/finance/Qualified/Semi Qualified Accountant
• 10 years' experience in insurance/reinsurance processes
• Knowledge and expertise of tools such as Power BI, Alteryx, etc. is preferred
