Job summary

EXL Talent Acquisition Team in Noida is seeking an experienced accounting professional to lead General Ledger activities and payroll accounting. The role requires strong analytical skills, leadership, and excellent communication to guide audits and financial reviews.

The candidate will manage reconciliation, internal controls, and forecasting while ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. A CMA is a plus, with 5+ years in progressive accounting roles.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy; CMA advantageous.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including management roles.
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Office; Oracle Fusion is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team in managing general ledger, and guide strategic decision-making.
• Ensure accurate Payroll Accounting.
• Reconcile Bank statements and maintain the general ledger in the system.
• Assist in handling internal and external audits.
• Review & analyze financial statements.
• Prepare reconciliation of Balance Sheet Schedules.
• P&L Variance Analysis.
• Develop & Maintain internal controls, continuously refining accounting systems and procedures to increase accuracy & efficiency.
• Assist leadership in forecasting and tracking organization spending.
