Assistant Manager – Operational Support

We are seeking an energetic, organized, and leadership-ready Assistant Manager to support departmental operations, manage shift/team workflows, and ensure core operational objectives are met. In this role, you will act as a bridge between frontline staff and senior management, driving daily productivity, maintaining service/manufacturing quality standards, monitoring team performance, and stepping in to lead operations in the Managers absence.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Execution Team Leadership
• Daily Supervision: Oversee day-to-day operations, task allocation, and workflow execution across team members to maintain high output and efficiency.
• Team Guidance Training: Mentor, onboard, and train subordinate staff; address daily operational queries; and foster a collaborative work environment.
• Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Enforcement: Ensure all team members adhere strictly to company policies, safety protocols, quality guidelines, and operational checklists.
• Reporting, Planning Management Support: Performance Tracking: Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), track project/production deadlines, and assist the Departmental Head with monthly performance evaluations.
• Inter-Departmental Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Accounts, Sales, Stores, HR, Production) to resolve operational bottlenecks and ensure smooth inter-departmental handoffs.
• Data Management Documentation: Prepare shift logs, daily output summaries, inventory status reports, and presentation decks using MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
