is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager Operations to oversee day-to-day back-office operations, ensure timely execution of verification assignments, and supervise a team of Back Office Executives. The role involves monitoring productivity, maintaining quality standards, coordinating with clients, and ensuring all cases are completed within committed TAT.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in RCU/Credit.
  • Prior experience in team handling.

Responsibilities

  • Operations management: supervise daily back-office operations and ensure timely case processing and closure.
  • Team management: lead, mentor, and monitor performance of Back Office Executives.
  • Client coordination: manage daily client communication and updates.
  • Quality & TAT: review reports for quality, monitor SLA adherence.
  • MIS & Reporting: prepare and analyze daily, weekly, monthly MIS.
  • Process Improvement & Compliance: identify gaps and implement enhancements.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: coordinate with HR, IT, Accounts, Quality.

SIFT Corporate Services Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager Operations to oversee day-to-day back-office operations and ensure timely execution of verification assignments. The role involves managing a team of Back Office Executives, monitoring productivity, maintaining quality standards, coordinating with clients, and ensuring all cases are completed within the committed Turnaround Time (TAT).

The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership, analytical, and operational management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
1. Operations Management
  • Supervise daily back-office operations and ensure timely initiation, processing, and closure of cases.
  • Allocate work efficiently and ensure adherence to client SOPs and operational guidelines.
  • Resolve operational issues and escalations when needed.
2. Team Management
  • Lead, mentor, and monitor the performance of Back Office Executives.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide training to improve productivity and quality.
  • Ensure discipline and compliance with company policies.
3. Client Coordination
  • Manage day-to-day communication with clients, address queries, provide updates, and handle operational escalations.
  • Ensure timely submission of reports as per client requirements.
4. Quality & TAT Management
  • Review reports for accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
  • Monitor TAT, productivity, and pending cases to ensure SLA adherence.
  • Identify process gaps and implement corrective actions.
5. MIS & Reporting
  • Prepare and analyse daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
  • Track operational performance and present key metrics to management.
6. Process Improvement & Compliance
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and implement process enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and documentation standards.
  • Support internal and external audits by maintaining accurate operational records.
7. Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Coordinate with HR, IT, Accounts, Quality, and other departments to ensure smooth operational execution.
  • Assist management in implementing new processes and organisational initiatives.
Preferred candidate profile
1. Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Management, or a related field.
2. Experience
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in RCU/ Credit.
  • Prior experience in team handling.

1. Operational & Technical Skills
  • Operations management, case management, client coordination, quality management, SLA/TAT monitoring, process improvement, documentation management, and MIS reporting.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (Advanced), including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Data Validation, MS Office, and ERP/CRM or client portal software.
2. Leadership & Management Skills
  • Team leadership, performance management, coaching and mentoring, decision-making, problem-solving, conflict resolution, analytical thinking, and time management.
3. Communication & Interpersonal Skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication, stakeholder and client relationship management, presentation skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
