Responsibilities

• Deliver preestablished outcomes for designated tax areas using approved tax systems.
• Collect and analyze data using preset tools and methods, working independently.
• Access and manage data using approved systems as required.
• Extract and combine data to generate standard reports.
• Prepare moderately complex documents using standard office software and summarize data for reports.
• Assist in developing and delivering financial policies to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide information and clarification on procedures and precedents.
• Monitor and analyze data using finance systems and protocols.
• Develop capabilities through training and coaching; stay updated on technology, regulation, and industry best practices.
• Supervise a team performing routine work.

The Assistant Manager at GKN Driveline (India) Limited will support the departmental head in overseeing daily operations, optimizing processes, and ensuring team performance aligns with company objectives and production targets within the Indian market.

Key Responsibilities

• Tax Deliver preestablished outcomes for designated tax areas by working within established tax systems.
• Data Collection and Analysis Collate and analyze data using preset tools, methods, and formats. Involves working independently.
• Data Management Use data management systems to access specific information as and when required.
• Insights and Reporting Extract and combine data to generate standard reports.
• Document Preparation Prepare moderately complex documents using a variety of applications for technology devices, such as standard office software. Also responsible for gathering and summarizing data for reports.
• Financial Policies, Guidelines, and Protocols Assist with the development and delivery of financial policies, guidelines, and protocols to ensure the company complies with regulations and good financial practice.
• Recommendations Provide information and clarification on existing procedures, processes, and precedents.
• Financial Management and Control Monitor and analyze data using established finance systems and protocols.
• Operational Compliance Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching. Develop and maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
• Leadership and Direction Supervise a team performing routine work.
• Performance Management Prioritize own workflow and ensure work is completed to the required standards of productivity, quality, and timeliness; use performance management systems to improve personal performance.
