Job summary

Veltris is seeking an Assistant Manager - Finance in Hyderabad (Hybrid) to support our global finance organization. The role covers month-end close, general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, revenue recognition under ASC 606, and financial reporting.

The ideal candidate has about 8–10 years of accounting experience with a strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and experience supporting U.S.-based businesses.

Qualifications

• CA Inter / CMA Inter / MBA Finance preferred with 8-10 years’ experience in accounting & finance operations.

Responsibilities

• Month-close activities including accruals, amortizations, BRs, prepaid tracking, fixed asset register.
• Preparing Financials (P&L, BS) and supporting schedules.
• Update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers and other records in detail.
• Interim & Statutory Audit assistance and other tasks assigned by Manager.

• Updateandmaintainaccountingjournals,ledgersandotherrecordsin detail
• Interim & Statutory Audit assistance and other taking up all other tasks assigned by Manager

Accounts Payable:

• Vendor&ConsultantInvoicesvalidation& posting
• VendorBalancereconciliations periodically
• Corporatecreditcardtransactionspostingand reconciliations
• CommunicatingwithVendorsforInvoicesandother queries
• TDS, PF, ESI, PT and GST related workings preparation and filing of returns
• Payment of all statutory dues within timelines

Payroll:

• Verifyingandvalidatingthepayrollinputsincoordinationwith HR
• Investmentdeclarationscollection&verifyingandvalidatingtheIncometax proofs
• AssistingthePayrollmanagerinmonthlypayroll activities
• Providingform16toAllemployeesattheendofthe year
