Job summary

Moar Advisory is recruiting a Finance Manager for a client in Hyderabad. The role is hands-on with responsibility for finance, accounting, reporting, compliance, budgeting, and internal controls.

The successful candidate will partner with business leadership, oversee month-end close, statutory filings, audits, and cash management, while mentoring staff and driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent professional qualification.
• 610 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a managerial capacity.
• Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), taxation, and statutory compliance.
• Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and audit management.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Tally, Oracle, or similar platforms
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and business finance.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day finance and accounting operations, including bookkeeping, ledger scrutiny, and month-end/year-end closing.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.
• Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
• Ensure timely and accurate statutory compliance, including GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC filings, and other applicable regulations.
• Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors to ensure timely completion of audits.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and fund management.
• Develop, implement, and maintain strong internal financial controls and SOPs.
• Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and financial analysis for management review.
• Liaise with banks, financial institutions, auditors, and other external stakeholders as required.
• Provide financial insights and analysis to leadership to support strategic decision-making.
• Supervise, mentor, and manage junior finance and accounts team members.
• Ensure timely and accurate payroll-related financial processing in coordination with HR, wherever applicable.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost optimization, and strengthening financial controls.

The selected candidate will work directly from the clients Hyderabad office and will be responsible for managing key finance, accounting, financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, and internal control functions.

This is a hands-on managerial role requiring strong technical finance expertise, analytical capabilities, and the ability to partner effectively with business leadership.
