Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail‑oriented Finance Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee all finance‑related activities, ensure legal compliance, manage client invoices, and work closely with our accounting and consulting partners. A strong background in finance, excellent analytical skills, and effective communication in English are essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the financial operations of the company, including the preparation of annual and quarterly reports, GST filings, and other regulatory compliance.
• Track and manage client invoices, ensuring timely payments and following up on overdue accounts.
• Draft and send communications to clients regarding outstanding invoices and other financial matters.
• Ensure all financial practices comply with legal requirements and industry standards.
• Act as an interface between the company and external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
• Monitor and evaluate the services provided by our accounting and consulting firm, ensuring they meet our standards and requirements.
• Handle payroll compliance, petty cash, including TDS and other legal requirements.
• Ensure company compliance with statutory laws such as Company Law, Income Tax, Service Tax, etc.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of accounting standards, tax laws, and financial regulations, and communicate updates to internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with the CEO and other senior management to support strategic financial planning and decision‑making.

Skills Required

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is required.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar finance role, preferably in a small company where the candidate played a main finance role.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and legal compliance.
• Proven ability to manage end‑to‑end financial activities.
• Ability to work independently, demonstrating strong self‑starter qualities.
• Experience working closely with senior management, especially the CEO.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions.
