The Assistant Manager – Community Outreach Program will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing community outreach initiatives to strengthen the organization’s engagement with the community. The role involves organizing health awareness programs, screening camps, community events, institutional collaborations, and other outreach activities while building strong relationships with local communities, organizations, healthcare professionals, and referral partners.
Plan and execute community outreach programs, health awareness campaigns, and wellness initiatives.
Identify opportunities to expand outreach activities in new communities and target groups.
Coordinate health camps, screening programs, awareness sessions, and community events.
Ensure smooth execution of outreach activities as per organizational guidelines.
Develop and maintain relationships with community leaders, NGOs, resident welfare associations, schools, colleges, corporates, and other institutions.
Coordinate with local organizations for joint health and awareness initiatives.
Build a strong network of community contacts and outreach partners.
Represent the organization at community meetings and outreach events.
Coordinate logistics, manpower, venue arrangements, promotional materials, equipment, and other requirements for outreach programs.
Work closely with doctors, nurses, technicians, marketing teams, and other departments for successful program execution.
Ensure proper documentation and follow‑up after every event.
Support campaigns related to preventive healthcare, health education, wellness, and disease awareness.
Coordinate health talks and educational sessions with doctors and healthcare professionals.
Assist in developing outreach communication materials such as brochures, posters, presentations, and digital content.
Identify potential opportunities for generating appropriate healthcare referrals through community programs.
Maintain professional relationships with community representatives and referral partners.
Coordinate follow‑up activities for leads and inquiries generated through outreach programs.
Ensure that all engagement activities follow the organization’s ethical and compliance standards.
Coordinate and guide outreach executives, coordinators, volunteers, and field staff involved in community programs.
Allocate responsibilities and monitor the team’s field activities.
Conduct regular reviews of outreach activities and provide feedback to team members.
Maintain records of outreach activities, participants, screenings, leads, referrals, and outcomes.
Prepare weekly/monthly reports on program performance.
Track key performance indicators such as number of programs conducted, community participation, institutional tie‑ups, and leads generated.
Analyze program results and recommend improvements to management.
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Hospital Administration, Marketing, Public Relations, Social Work, Business Administration, or a related field.
A postgraduate qualification in Healthcare Management, Hospital Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline will be an advantage.
2–5 years of relevant experience in healthcare outreach, community engagement, hospital marketing, field marketing, or a similar role.
