Job summary

NLB Services seeks an Assistant Manager to oversee the Income Review function for US residential mortgage loans. You will ensure accurate income calculations, guideline compliance, and timely processing while guiding a team of analysts.

The role requires expertise in income calculations across salary, hourly, self-employed, and other income types, with experience in Encompass and LOS platforms. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in US Residential Mortgage, with strong Income Review/LOS experience.
• 1–3 years of team-lead or people-management experience.
• Good knowledge of U.S. mortgage income calculations and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Income Review Analysts.
• Review and validate income documents including paystubs, W-2s, tax returns, 1099s, bank statements, and VOE/VOI.
• Calculate qualifying income for salaried, hourly, self-employed, commission, bonus/OT, rental, retirement, and other income types.
• Handle complex income scenarios and resolve escalations with Underwriting and Processing teams.
• Ensure calculations comply with applicable lender/investor and Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac guidelines.
• Monitor team productivity, TAT, SLA, and quality metrics.
• Conduct quality checks, identify errors, and drive corrective actions.
• Provide coaching, training, and guideline updates to team members.
• Support audits, client queries, process improvements, and MIS reporting.
