Advanced Rail Controls in Lucknow is seeking an AGM Purchase with 8+ years of experience in manufacturing procurement. You will lead the entire procurement function, drive strategic sourcing, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure timely material availability for production.

The role demands strong negotiation, vendor management, and ERP/SAP proficiency. Engineering graduates with essential leadership and analytical skills are preferred.

Qualificações

• 8+ years of experience in Purchase/Procurement in a manufacturing setup.
• Strong knowledge of engineering materials, components, and technical specs.
• Experience in vendor development and supplier evaluation.
• Experience with supplier negotiations, costing, contracts, and payment terms.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage the Purchase & Procurement function for the manufacturing plant.
• Develop and implement strategic sourcing and procurement plans for direct and indirect materials.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers/vendors.
• Handle vendor negotiations, costing, commercial terms, contracts, and payment terms.
• Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, components, electrical items, engineering materials, and consumables.
• Monitor cost reduction, quality, delivery, and inventory levels.
• Coordinate with Production, Stores, Quality, Engineering, Finance, and Planning teams.
• Manage vendor performance, development, audits, and evaluation.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
• Analyze market trends, material prices, and alternative sourcing opportunities.
• Lead and mentor the purchase team for smooth daily operations.
• Prepare and review MIS, procurement reports, cost-saving reports, and dashboards.

Key Responsibilities
