Job summary

Priya Cement in India invites applications for a maintenance technician role focused on cement plant equipment. The candidate should have hands-on experience with crushers, VRMs, kilns and roller presses, and be capable of aligning HT motors with driven equipment.

The role requires practical knowledge of gear boxes, including planetary gear boxes, and the ability to measure necks and backlash, axial float, and to replace bearings and gears. Knowledge of conveyors and couplings is a plus.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of core cement plant equipment such as crushers, VRMs, kilns and roller presses.
• Hands-on experience aligning HT motors with driven equipment.
• Experience in gearbox assemblies, including planetary gear boxes.
• Ability to measure gearbox axial float, backlash and clearances.
• Experience replacing bearings and gears and servicing lubrication systems.
• Familiarity with belt conveyors, elevators and couplings adds value.

• Carry out alignment and maintenance of crushers, kilns, VRMs and roller presses.
• Measure and adjust gearbox backlash and axial float.
• Replace bearings and gears, service grease/oil systems.

Must have hands on experience in aligning of HT motors with driven equipments.

Must have hands on experience in assesmbly of gear boxes including that of planetary gear boxes.

Must have hands on experience to measure, determine and correct gear boxes axial float.

Must have hands on experience in measuring girth gear and pinion back lash and root clearance for kilns and ballmills.

Must have hands on experience in replacement of bearings and gears

Must have hands on experience in servicing of various pups for grease and oil.

Must have hands on experience in crapping of white metal bearnings

Must have hands on experience in white metal scrapping for trunnion as well as pinion bearings for ball mills.

Knowledge about materials handling equipment like belt conveyors, elevators, couplings will be an added advantages.
