Job summary

Rain Industries Limited invites experienced maintenance professionals to join our cement plant operations in Andhra Pradesh. You will lead a team on critical equipment – crushers, kilns, mills, and material handling systems – ensuring reliability and safety.

The role requires hands-on leadership, knowledge of MTBF/MTTR and OEE KPIs, and the ability to optimize power and fuel usage while minimizing downtime. Fluency in technical English is expected.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of core cement equipment including crushers, stackers & reclaimers, rotary kilns, ball mills, roller press, pollution control equipment like ESPs and RABHs and packers including truck loading machine.
• Ability to independently perform maintenance activities and guide a team.
• Ability to carry out site modifications to reduce power/fuel consumption and downtime.
• Sufficient knowledge in spare parts maintenance and inventory.
• Hands-on experience in leading a team of foremen, fitters and riggers.
• Ability to lead workforce at shop floor level as a team leader.
• Understanding and evaluation of KPIs like MTBF, MTTR, Rs/MT, OEE, planned vs breakdown costs and RM costs.
• Knowledge of Management Systems like ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001.
• Knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate cement plant equipment with minimal downtime.
• Lead and mentor a team of foremen, fitters and riggers on maintenance tasks.
• Plan and implement site modifications to improve energy efficiency.
• Manage spare parts inventory and procurement.
• Monitor KPIs and drive improvements in reliability and performance.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure safe and compliant operations.

• 3. Must be able to carry out site modifications to reduce power/fuel consumption and downtime.
• 4. Must have sufficient knowledge in spare parts maintenance and inventory.
• 5. Must have hands-on experience in leading a team of experienced mechanical foremen, fitters and riggers.
• 6. Must be a team leader to lead the workforce at the shop floor level.
• 7. Must understand and evaluate KPIs like MTBF, MTTR, Rs/MT, OEE, planned vs breakdown costs, and repair & maintenance costs.
• 8. Knowledge of Management Systems like ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001.
• 9. Knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage.
