Job summary

Priya Cement in India is seeking a licensed civil maintenance professional to lead planning and execution of civil maintenance and shutdown activities. The role requires coordination with production, mechanical, electrical and safety teams to ensure timely completion and adherence to safety standards.

Candidate should be proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, PowerPoint, and SAP modules (MM & PM) with solid experience in cost optimization and BOQ preparation.

Qualifications

• Plan, execute and monitor civil maintenance, project and shutdown activities as per safety, quality, cost and timeline targets.
• Prepare estimates, BOQs, contractor scope and work schedules.
• Monitor contractor performance, material usage and work progress.
• Coordinate with production, mechanical, electrical and safety teams for timely completion of jobs.
• Knowledge of cement plant civil structures, refractory support works, foundations, silos, buildings, drains and roads.
• Hands on experience on MS Excel, AutoCAD, Power Point, SAP-MM, SAP-PM.

Plan, execute and monitor civil maintenance, project and shutdown activities as per safety, quality, cost and timeline targets; ensure statutory and plant compliance for civil works; prepare estimates, BOQs, contractor scope and work schedules; monitor contractor performance, material usage and work progress; ensure preventive maintenance of buildings, roads, drains, foundations, structures and plant civil assets; coordinate with production, mechanical, electrical and safety teams for timely completion of jobs; maintain records, progress reports, drawings and work completion documentation; drive cost optimization, housekeeping, safety compliance and continuous improvement in civil works.

Civil construction and maintenance knowledge; estimation, rate analysis and BOQ preparation; reading and interpretation of civil, structural and layout drawings; project planning, scheduling and progress monitoring; quality control of concrete, masonry, structural steel, waterproofing, roads and finishing works; safety standards; SAP work order and material management; AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Project/PowerPoint; contractor billing, measurement book checking and documentation; knowledge of cement plant civil structures, refractory support works, foundations, silos, buildings, drains and roads.

Ability to lead team members, coordinate cross-functional jobs and complete work within planned timeline and budget.

Should have hands on experience on MS Excel, Auto-CAD, Power Point, SAP-MM, SAP-PM etc.,
