Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an Assistant Facility Manager - Technical in Mumbai to oversee operation and maintenance of critical building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and BMS. You will manage preventive and corrective maintenance, maintain records, and ensure safety and compliance.

The role requires leadership of engineering and maintenance teams, coordinating technicians and vendors, and driving continuous improvement across facilities operations.

Responsibilities

• Building Systems Management: Oversee operation and maintenance of HVAC systems (AHUs, FCUs, VRVs), Electrical systems (HT/LT panels, DG sets, UPS), Plumbing and water management, Diesel Generator – Operational and Maintenance, Sewage treatment plant - Operational and Maintenance, Fire detection and suppression systems, Elevators and escalators, Building Management System (BMS)
• Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules. Monitor breakdowns and ensure timely corrective actions. Maintain equipment history and maintenance records. Conduct periodic technical audits and inspections.
• Team Leadership: Lead engineering and maintenance teams. Manage technicians, supervisors, and vendor personnel. Conduct training programs on safety and technical procedures. Evaluate team performance and drive continuous improvement.
