Responsibilities

• Prepare a contract execution plan and guide the team in monitoring and executing activities within timeline; coordinate with project manager and sales to manage timelines and risks.
• Ensure the design team follows the developed processes; prepare and check drawings and bill of materials per PLM/CAD guidelines; track design errors and aim for first-time-right with improvements.
• Keep track of costs while reviewing customized solutions; guide the team to explore and evaluate alternate solutions and manufacturing processes to achieve optimum results.
• Plan and supervise prototype builds to meet internal/external testing schedules; coordinate and witness testing as required, in India and abroad.
• Review schematics and wiring and release in the system; track errors and plan reductions.
• Prepare and maintain data for product configuration for contracts and customization; validate configurator logic and test functionality; train the Sales team.
• Complete technical reviews in the system within the standard timeline.
• Maintain all contract and technical review files for the allocated contract and related information.
• Provide information for monthly management reports.
• Mentor the team to maintain competencies; identify skill gaps and work with management to fill them.

Job description

• 1 Prepare a contract execution plan and guide the team in monitoring and in executing of activities of each contract within specified timeline. Co-ordinate with project manager & sales team to maintain the timeline & risks of the execution
• 2 Ensure the design team follow the processes developedPrepare & Check drawings, bill of material as per PLM & CAD system guidelines. Track the design errors and target to achieve first time right by suggesting the improvement
• 3.Keep track of cost while reviewing customized solution. Guide team to Explore and evaluate alternate solutions, alternate manufacturing processes to achieve optimum solution
• 4. Plan and supervise the prototype building to follow the internal/external testing schedules. Coordinate and witness internal/external testing as required, both in India and abroad
• 5.Review the schematics & wiring and release in the system. Track the errors and plan to reduce.
• 6.Ensuring Preparation and maintenance of required data for product configuration for contract work and customization, validate logic and testing the functionality of Configurator and training of Sales team
• 7.Complete technical reviews in the system within the standard timeline
• 8.Maintain all contract / technical review files pertaining to contract / technical review information for the allocated contract / technical review
• 9. Provide information for Management Reports on monthly basis
