Job summary

Hyatt Regency Gurgaon seeks an Assistant Director of Engineering to assure efficient, economical operation of the Engineering Department in line with Hyatt's corporate strategies and brand standards.

You will assist the Director of Engineering, supervise maintenance of equipment, building and grounds, and provide critical services to all departments to ensure guest satisfaction and smooth operations.

Qualifications

• University degree or diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and/or Building Management.
• Minimum 2 years work experience as Assistant Director of Engineering or Engineering Manager.
• Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Engineering Department in line with Hyatt's corporate strategies and brand standards.
• Assist the Director of Engineering to ensure efficient and economical operation and provide support to all operating departments.

Summary

You will be responsible for the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations. The Assistant Director of Engineering is responsible to assist the Director of Engineering in ensuring the efficient and economic operation of the Engineering Department in support of all other operating Departments, supplying services as required to the entire operation, and maintaining equipment, building, and grounds in optimum condition.

Qualifications

Ideally with a university degree or diploma in in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and/or Building Management. Minimum 2 years work experience as Assistant Director of Engineering, or Engineering Manager. Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must.
