Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a dialysis technician to set up and operate haemodialysis equipment for patient treatments in Uttar Pradesh. You will attach dialyzers, prime circuits, prepare dialysis solutions, and label patient lines while ensuring safety and accuracy.

You will explain procedures to patients and monitor machines during treatment. The role also involves connecting to patient access sites, initiating dialysis, and maintaining complete log books and records to ensure compliant

Summary of the role:

• Sets up and operates haemodialysis machine to provide dialysis treatment for patients with kidney failure
  • Attach dialyzer and tubing to machine and prime the extracorporeal circuits with 0.9% normal saline to prepare machine for use.
  • Label dialyser & blood lines with patient name & ID prior to the first use (excluded single use).
  • Preparing dialysis solutions and mixing bicarbonate according to formula
  • Explains dialysis procedure and operation of haemodialysis machine to patient before treatment to allay anxieties.
  • Connects haemodialysis machine to patient’s access site to initiate dialysis.
  • Monitor haemodialysis machine for malfunction.
  • Maintain all the log books, forms & registers.
