Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a dedicated professional to operate and monitor haemodialysis equipment, ensuring safe and effective dialysis treatment for patients with kidney failure.

The role involves preparing machines, attaching patient lines, assembling dialysis solutions, and guiding patients through the procedure while maintaining detailed records and logs.

Responsibilities

• Sets up haemodialysis machine and primes extracorporeal circuits with saline to prepare for use.
• Attaches dialyser and blood lines with patient name & ID prior to first use (single use excluded).
• Prepares dialysis solutions and mixes bicarbonate as per formula.
• Explains the dialysis procedure and operation of the haemodialysis machine to the patient before treatment.
• Connects the haemodialysis machine to the patient’s access site to initiate dialysis.
• Monitors the haemodialysis machine for malfunctions and ensures safety.

• Sets up and operates haemodialysis machine to provide dialysis treatment for patients with kidney failure
  • Attach dialyzer and tubing to machine and prime the extracorporeal circuits with 0.9% normal saline to prepare machine for use.
  • Label dialyser & blood lines with patient name & ID prior to the first use (excluded single use).
  • Preparing dialysis solutions and mixing bicarbonate according to formula
  • Explains dialysis procedure and operation of haemodialysis machine to patient before treatment to allay anxieties.
  • Connects haemodialysis machine to patient’s access site to initiate dialysis.
  • Monitor haemodialysis machine for malfunction.
  • Maintain all the log books, forms & registers.
