Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a BIM Architect for Data Center / Mission Critical projects in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary setting. You will develop Architectural BIM models, produce construction documents, and coordinate with Structural and MEP teams to ensure design accuracy and compliance.

Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks and BIM workflows is essential, with 2+ years of experience and a data center design background preferred. The role supports a hybrid work model in Mumbai.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Architectural Design and BIM Modeling.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD and BIM workflows.
• Experience on Data Center design projects is highly preferred.
• Strong coordination across disciplines and client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage Architectural BIM models for Data Center projects.
• Prepare design drawings, construction documents, and detailed architectural deliverables.
• Coordinate with Structural, MEP, and other engineering disciplines within the BIM environment.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements.
• Perform clash detection and design coordination using BIM tools.
• Support project teams through various design stages, from concept to construction documentation.
• Maintain BIM standards, workflows, and quality control processes.
• Participate in project meetings and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve design issues.

Your impact

The role involves developing and coordinating BIM models, preparing architectural drawings, and working closely with multidisciplinary teams for Data Center/Mission Critical projects. Candidates should have strong expertise in Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM workflows, along with experience in design coordination, clash detection, and construction documentation. Experience in Data Center design is highly preferred. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential.

Here’s what you’ll need

• B.Arch degree from a recognized institution.
• 2+years of experience in Architectural Design and BIM Modeling.
• Experience in Data Center design projects is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and BIM workflows.
• Knowledge of BIM standards, coordination processes, and clash detection.
• Strong understanding of architectural design principles, building codes, and construction documentation.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary project environment.
