Job summary

General Mills is seeking an experienced Master Data Analyst Leader in India to drive global master data operations and ensure data quality across product and customer hierarchies.

You will guide SAP integrations, governance strategies, and data standards while collaborating with business partners to improve dashboards and metrics that drive accountability and results. A Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of experience are required.

• Lead a team of master data analysts responsible for global support for master data operations across General Mills.
• Ensure product/customer hierarchy changes are completed in a timely manner.
• Partner with key business leaders on projects and daily activities across all segments to ensure our master data continues to be of high quality and reflect the needs of the organization.
• Identify opportunities to introduce technology as part of the Master Data operations.
• Ensure service levels meet targets, manage, and escalated issues with expediency. Manage Master Data Service delivery to ensure accuracy and completeness of critical data within respective domains.
• Provide general consultation to project teams, business and other SAP teams and guide them on data standards and team process.
• Work with business partners to optimize digital tools and data to leverage standard metrics, models, and dashboards that drive accountability and results, reinforce desired behaviour, and measure success.

OVERVIEW

The Global Master Data Operations team enables critical business operations through Service Excellence and Customer First capabilities of master data create and change processes. They ensure data quality through execution of Global Data Governance and Stewardship Strategies to provide trusted downstream reporting and analytic insights. The team collaborate across Data and Technology teams and business partners to execute projects that improve master data collection and quality processes. This role will be responsible to provide leadership to the vendor/customer/material domains of Master Data Analyst team in India with a global responsibility. As a part of the role, he/she will lead a team of Master Data analysts. The role will need to help drive Global Data Governance strategies and leverage supporting technologies to ensure operational efficiency and high-quality data. This role will require to explore options to introduce the relevant technology to enhance operations efficiency and team productivity.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education : Bachelor's degree. Experience : 12+ years of experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Good Data Governance, Data Quality and Master Data Expertise Sound technical knowledge and expertise in data technologies like SQL, Data Analytics on Cloud Platform Background in Data Engineering will be beneficial
