Job summary

Mott MacDonald in Mumbai is seeking an experienced Civil BIM Engineer to develop and detail civil infrastructure models using Civil 3D. You will interpret project requirements, create accurate 3D representations, and ensure alignment with standards.

You will collaborate with BIM coordinators and project managers, optimize corridor modelling, surfaces, and pipe networks, and contribute to standardizing components and processes while maintaining quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years in modelling and detailing for civil infrastructure.
• Experience in Energy/power projects is a plus.
• Expert in Autodesk Civil 3D with custom subassemblies.
• Proficient in 2D/3D Civil3D modelling; hands-on Revit is an advantage.
• Able to guide, troubleshoot and train team members.
• Support in modelling and extraction of deliverables.
• Professional attitude with teamwork and multi-disciplinary coordination.

Candidate Specification

Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

3 - 5 years of experience in the field of Modelling and detailing with civil infrastructure.

Experience in Energy/power projects would be an advantage.

Expert level proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D, including creation of custom subassemblies, corridor modelling, surfaces and pipe networks.

Should be well‑conversant with 2D/3D modelling using Civil3D. Hands‑on experience on Revit will be an added advantage.

Should be technology focused and understand industry developments.

Should be able to guide, troubleshoot and train team members to perform varied levels of development in BIM projects and drive outcomes.

Should be able to assist in Modelling and Extraction of deliverables.

A professional attitude towards work and self‑motivation.

Be a team player and have multi‑disciplinary coordination skill.
