Job summary

Talent Corner Hr Services in Mumbai is seeking a Banquet Operations professional to assist the Banquet Manager in planning and executing all banquet events. You will supervise operations during conferences, weddings, social, and corporate functions, ensuring setups meet the function sheet.

The role requires coordinating with Kitchen, Stewarding, Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, Security and Sales, briefing staff, and maintaining service standards and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Banquet Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing all banquet events and functions.
• Supervise banquet operations during events, including conferences, meetings, weddings, social functions, and corporate events.
• Ensure proper setup of banquet halls, tables, chairs, stages, buffet counters, and other event requirements as per the function sheet.
• Coordinate with Kitchen, Stewarding, Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, Security, and Sales for smooth execution of events.
• Brief and allocate duties to banquet associates before every function.
• Monitor service standards and ensure timely and professional service to guests.
• Ensure that food and beverage service is carried out as per approved menus and event requirements.
• Handle guest requests, complaints, and special requirements promptly and professionally.
• Conduct pre-function briefings and ensure all staff are aware of event details and VIP requirements.
• Monitor food and beverage consumption and minimize wastage.
• Ensure proper control and handling of banquet equipment, crockery, cutlery, linen, glassware, and other operating supplies.
• Check banquet areas before, during, and after functions to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and readiness.
• Assist in monitoring banquet revenue, billing, and proper posting of charges.
